Real estate prices down in Europe
Great Britain

For several months now, average housing prices have been declining in Great Britain. Banks are hardening loan terms and potential buyers are finding it gradually more difficult to buy property.

Ireland

Same scenario in Ireland. The European country that recorded the strongest growth (+235%) is now experiencing a major downturn (7% in 2007).

Spain

After years of euphoria with strong growth (+173%), Spain has, for the 1st time in 10 years, recorded a drop in real estate transactions. A hard blow for this country with an economy that depends highly on the building sector.
