Termite survey

Termites attack wood (joists, wood flooring, framework, furniture), textiles, and paper. The danger comes from the fact that the attack can neither be heard nor seen.

In case of the sale of a building situated in an area outlined by the Prefect, it is essential to conduct a survey at the end of which the expert will establish a report on the parasites. The survey by an expert makes it possible to determine whether the property is infested or not by termites.
An exemption clause for warranty on hidden defects established by the presence of termites cannot be included in the official deed of sale if the parasite report has not been issued.
The parasite report must have been drawn up less than six months prior to the date of sale
