In accordance with the SRU act, all non professional buyers have a 7-day cooling-off period. If you would like to cancel an undertaking to buy, remember to send your registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.

Dear Madam, Dear Sir,

We signed an undertaking to purchase on (specify the date) in which I committed to buy your property situated (specify the address).

After having thought it over, I would like to exercise my right of withdrawal. I have made my decision within the legal deadline of 7 days after the signature.
