Natural paints

Containing neither solvents nor volatile organic compounds (VOC), natural paints are good for your health, the environment, and feature a very good covering capacity. Z

Although lead has disappeared from paints because of its impact on health (lead-poisoning) and the environment, traditional paints, even water-base paints, continue to contain many toxic products.
Despite the fact their manufacture is governed by a European directive aimed at reducing VOC emissions (toxic chemical products that end up in the air, especially during drying), traditional paints continue to be neither good for humans nor the environment.

Natural base products

Natural paint contains no heavy metals or petrochemical products. Its composition generally includes a neutral base with water or natural turpentine oil (solvent) added, natural linseed, soybean, and wood (binding agent) oils, as well as natural pigments (colour).
Biodegradable, natural paint exists in a matt finish for walls and a satin finish for woodwork. It has excellent covering capacity while letting the walls breathe. As for the price, it is generally comparable to good quality synthetic paints.
